i am torn. one half of me likes skiing in the alps; the other hacking ikea furniture. i dont think the two can be reconciled.

I feel like I’m starting to feel very tired from the stress. thank goodness I have:
a supportive husband
an amazingly patient and helpful girlfirend
ridiculously easy going friends who forgive my disappearances
smarter than I coworkers
and a good manager
but I still want to start leaving work at 5, not 6-7:30 which is what goes so far.

2nd day in goose bay

waking up at 3am, 5am, 5am for 3 consecutive days really messes with your head.
its daylight here at 6am. (like, sun way above horizon). i think sun rises right before 5, and its already light at 4am. its light until 9pm.
weather here is gorgeous.

i love my dishwasher. when i hear it washing the dishes i want to kiss and hug it. is it wrong to love technology this much?
