rant on chargers

i’m traveling lots now.
so i have:
– kindle
– ipod
– camera (nikon)
– mac air
– work laptop
– blackberry
– hair straightener

and
every
bloody
thing
has
its
own
charger

w
t
f
.

now, let’s multiply that to at least 2 distinctive geographical zones (swiss and UK), ignoring any Canada chargers.

let’s add 2 mice (both travel mice but somehow my bluetooth isn’t working with the work laptop, once i get that it’ll at least be cut down to 1)

let’s add the work charger cables (which i will cull down this trip to just 1, from 3 – canada/uk/eu because i do need to work on the road and thus the canada cable). at least only 1 brick and 3 different “exit” cables!

basically half my suitcase is electronics.

and this means no ipad either.

(ALSO I HAVE A MAC AIR AND ITS THE AWESOMEST)

  1. If you had an iPhone instead of a Blackberry, and an iPad instead of a Kindle, and an iFlatter instead of a hair straightener, you’d be using your iPod charger for all four.

  2. You could get one of those chargers that have USB ports on them. You could charge almost half of your stuff on that. And they’re quick, too. My phone charges fully (from almost dead) in 1 hour.

    1. that doesn’t worrrk. camera and mac air and work laptop and hair straighner dont do usb by definition. the rest is usb cables but basically its still a cable per thing.
