this is so freaking genius. although during his voice over he does seem to be rubbing his geniousness in. “i shot this from the same perspective as the fans that surrounded me” (okay, not verbatim quote, but approximately what he said).

Nice idea, but it didnt work for me all the time. Some shots (like the tennis and baseball ones) seemed like the entire scene was a miniature shot, and that bothered me a bit. The surf ones were awesome, though.
It’s definitely cool to see sports photos where you appreciate both the event itself and the way it’s shot! I mean usually it’s about the framing and the right timing but the technique is really so standard.
However I agree, the blur is a little exaggerated. Or it should have been more of a motion blur than a strong Photoshop “lens blur” kind of blur.
