having finally found a tab extention the changes the behavior to one that i am used to, i have finally switched to firefox.

(and i need to do my assignment due in 11 hours…)

i was using a shell for i.e. called maxthon – up until recently it was far more configurable than firefox ;)

i’m actually still not entire convinced firefox is more comfortable for using in terms of its tab interface.
i used to use maxthon too, but once i got used to the security and better rendering of firefox, i made myself enjoy the firefox tabbing. i think i also found a tabbed browsing extension to put the tabs at the bottom where i was used to seeing them, but eventually i just accepted that they belonged at the top :P
noo, i like them being at the top. it was more the little annoyances of how tabs open that couldn’t work.
i guess security and better rendering will convince me finally at some point, but i haven’t had any problems in terms of security in ages (knock on wood) :)
